This notice explains how York Web Designs handles information from this site. Email brandon@yorkwebdesigns.co.uk about anything in this notice.

If you contact me

The contact form and email collect your name, email address, and message so I can reply and prepare a quote. I need your name and email to reply. If we work together, I also keep what I need to do the work and to meet my tax duties. I keep enquiries that do not become work for 24 months, and client records for 6 years after the work ends. Sending a message does not add you to a mailing list.

An email service stores those messages in the United States so they can reach me. The company that hosts the site processes connection data, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages and to run a spam check on the form. I do not sell your information.

Visits

I count visits in aggregate so I can see which pages are used. Those figures do not include your name or email, and I do not use them for advertising. Email me if you object to this.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of your information, or ask me to correct it, delete it, or limit how I use it. I will reply within one month. If you complain about how I handle your information, I will acknowledge it within 30 days and tell you the outcome.
